So many things to blog about but I’m having trouble finding words that make any sense. And as time goes by, I feel like I’ve missed the opportunity to capture the moment and now it’s no longer relevant.
I found this article on an unusual way to save some money, right after running to Target to get another bottle of shampoo. Basically, go without soap and shampoo and you could save hundreds of dollars each year. I am scared to try it though, because I know my hair gets oily looking really quickly. But the article does say that you just have to train your hair and it will learn to stop looking greasy. Kind of.
Last Sunday we celebrated Rachel’s birthday with a parade and a bar crawl in Brooklyn. A random bystander captured it on video and now it’s on the Internets for all to see.
I was really impressed with all the floats! I hope they save them for Halloween and every future occasion that requires costumes.

I read elsewhere that today is National Delurking Day. I think you’re supposed to leave a comment on blogs that you stalk regularly without commenting. I guess I have a lot of commenting to do today.
p.s.- I promise to update with more photos of my trip this weekend. The jetlag this time has been impossible to deal with. The other day I ended up with two contacts in one eye. I almost freaked out because I thought my vision somehow changed drastically overnight. I thought it was my left eye so I changed contacts but still couldn’t see. I finally decided to take my right contact out and try again and all of a sudden I could see clearly. Brilliant.
